Location

Ndr. Strandvej 2, 3000 Helsingør. Trains from Copenhagen run to Helsingør; the Øresund ferry links to Helsingborg. The hotel markets itself as minutes from Copenhagen by the Øresund corridor, with the lawn stepping to the sound.

Rooms and accommodation

Ten room types, from compact forest-facing rooms to sea suites, according to the hotel’s English site. Shared kit listed by the hotel: Wi-Fi, TV, minibar, coffee and tea, safe, hairdryer. We do not invent a star rating or quote nightly rates.

Amenities and services

Pool Club and spa are core amenities. The house also flags meetings and conferences. Menus, concert bills and spa slots change; confirm them on marienlyst.dk the week you travel.

Restaurants and bars

Named rooms on the hotel programme include Gemma steakhouse, Rory Bar, Vinotheket and afternoon tea settings. We do not reprint prices.

Entertainment

Concerts and talks appear on the hotel’s daily board. That programme is the hotel’s, not a casino floor show we can freeze here. Check marienlyst.dk the week you travel.

Nearby

Kronborg is the obvious daylight landmark on the next headland. The Øresund ferry to Helsingborg and trains to Copenhagen are the practical daytime itinerary. The casino is an evening neighbour in the same coastal complex, not a substitute for Helsingør itself.

Casino information

Licensed land casino on the same coastal plot as the hotel, at Ndr. Strandvej 2, Helsingør — the address Spillemyndigheden lists. casinomarienlyst.dk publishes Sunday–Thursday 19:00–03:00 and Friday–Saturday 19:00–04:00. Parking during opening hours is described on the guest-information page.

Casino history

The about page calls it Denmark’s oldest casino and traces a 1902 permission from Crown Prince Frederik for traditional horse-game play. That is a house claim, dated and attributed. It is not a live table map and not a promise that the current floor looks like 1902.

Casino features

Classic table games and machines are described on the operator’s pages. We leave live inventories, jackpots and table minimums to the house. The character is a coastal evening room next to a spa hotel, not a city tower.

Visiting rules

A hotel key is not a casino ticket. Guest information requires valid photo ID at the door; the entry ticket is used at the cashier. Dress is described as smart casual: certain sportswear and streetwear are not accepted; religious headwear is allowed if the face is recognisable. Smoking is not allowed at tables, machines or the bar; smoking booths are described, including for e-cigarettes. Free Wi-Fi is offered, with the code on the ticket. Ticket prices sit on the guest-information page and can change.

Age limit

Minimum age 18 under Danish gambling law, with photo ID. Children may stay in hotel rooms under the hotel’s own policy; they do not enter the casino.

Responsible gambling

If gambling stops being entertainment, use ROFUS and StopSpillet in Denmark, or Hjelpelinjen from Norway. This desk does not sell bets and does not admit guests.

Reservation inquiry

This form writes to Nordisk Inspirasjon, not to the hotel. It cannot confirm rooms or prices. Use Check availability for live booking.
